What's Cooking?

What im cooking is porcupine meatballs. The recpie for this is:
  1. Mix the ground beef, rice, 1/2 cup water, onion, salt, celery salt, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl. Roll the mixture into 12 meatballs.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the meatballs. Cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until evenly browned. Drain and discard any excess grease. Pour the tomato sauce, 1 cup water, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet; reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer until the meatballs are no longer pink in the center and the rice is tender, about 45 minutes. Stir in more water if the sauce becomes too dry.
This recpie started with my mom. She had found this recpie in an old cookbook of hers and decided to try it. It was instant favorite in our house. It is the one thing i always request and always ask for it on my birthday.

I start out by getting everything out of the fridge and the cabinets. I mix all of the ingrediants in a bowl and roll the gross squishy mixture into a ball. After that i put the meatballs in a skillet and let them simmer. Their delicious aroma fills the air when i pour the sauce in the skillet.

Blogging

In this project i have found it to be very difficult. I have never been a very strong writer. What i like most about this assignment is that it is gradually helping me become a more fluent and stronger writer. What i dislike and what my biggest challenge was that it was so hard to find something to write about even with prompts. and also it was very hard for me to become motivated to write. I think that i am starting to see some slight changes in my writing but i know that i still have alot to acccomplish.

3 reasons to marry young

I got engaged and moved out of my parents house at 17. Though almost everyone told me that it was stupid and that i should not have done it, I think that it was alright for me to get married. It wasn't because i was pregnant like most people my age, it was because we loved each other. My parents were very angry and upset becuase they thought that i wouldn;t go to school, I proved them wrong. I think there are many reasons to marry young, here are 3.

1. You get to find out what it means to be independent at a young age, which i believe will help you later in life. It will help when you want to start a family and reach all the many milestones you will in life.

2. You can start a family at a younger age, you dont have to worry about waiting for the one later on in life. And you can watch your children grow up kind of as you are growing up.

3. Getting to enjoy more in life sooner, getting maried young means you get your house, travel with your husband and you can start all that at a young age so you will be able to do more.

I believe that marrying young can also lower divorce rates.

Fears

My biggest fear of all time would probably be clowns. I cant remember what made me be afraid of them, but ever since i was little, I was terrified. Actually just a couple summers ago, I was 16 and my family and i went to the landing in Branson missouri and in the center part of the landing was a clown making balloon animals for the kids. I literally had to go all the way around the landing to go around him. I was almost in tears then. I guess it is pretty serious.

I am also afraid of storms. Mostly tornados. I have been afraid of tornados since about the 7th grade. In 7th grade around October My house got hit by a tornado. Ever since then I have been afraid of their even being warnings. That is why wheni get my own home there will either be a basement or their will be storm shelter.

Overplayed

A song that is way too overplayed on the radio is Thriftshop by Macklemore. Even though this song is played way too much, I can't help but love it. I swear i hear this song about 7 times a day going to and from work. Everytime that i am listening to it in my car I bust out singing and kinda go crazy. I probably have every line memorized of that song. I am sure people driving by me think im nuts when im driving down the road singing and dancing around. My car turns into a stage when it comes on the radio. Macklemore actually is coming to Springfield and i couldnt be more excited.

Reliving a moment.

If I could relive any moment, I would choose to relive the moment when my fiancee proposed to me. It was April 20, 2012 at a Springfield Cardnial's game. It was cold, we were drinking hot chocolate and eating peanuts and a funnel cake. On Friday nights at the baseball game's they do a fireworks show. After hiding the ring in his hoodie pocket through the whole game he walked me up to the top of the stairs above the seats. and sat me down and told me that i was beautiful and that he wanted to be with me forever and that he could not imagine a life without me. I was so suprised and first i thought that he was kidding. You could definetly tell he was nervous because he almost put the ring on the wrong hand. It was very cute. After the proposal the fireworks started. They had perfect timing. I was 17 and so nervous about telling my parents. Telling my parents the way that i did that night is something that i definetly would not relieve if i had the chance.

What's your most interesting scar?

My most interesting scar would probably be the one on my right knee. When i was younger, I can't quite remember how old i was then but i was over next door at my grandma's playing outside one summer. The easter just a couple of months before, I had gotten a Spice Girl bike that had training wheels on it. That summer my uncle Rob told me that i was getting too old for training wheels. He took the wheels off of my bike and helped me learn to ride my bike with out them on. I tried to go around our houses by myself. Inbetween my house and my grandma's house is a shop where my dad and my uncles would work on cars or boats. As I was riding my bike around for the first time by myself i had hit a rock that was in front of the shop and i fell off my bike. The scar was caused by a small rock hitting my knee. I cried for a long time becuase there was gravel and dirt all inside of the cut. The scar now is just a fingernail sized bubble type scar on my knee. It isn't to embarrasing so i can still where shorts and everything.
